Deputy Minister Šrámek at the XXII General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees

On November 2, 2017, Deputy Minister for Security and Multilateral Issues Ivo Šrámek participated in the opening of the XXII General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) in Prague.
On behalf of the Czech government and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs deputy minister Šrámek welcomed representatives from 205 National Olympic Committees, IOC President Thomas Bach, ANOC President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah and athletes of all continents in Prague. It is the first time in four years that a European city hosts the prestigious annual event since an extraordinary edition took place in Lausanne in 2013. The Assembly will discuss among other issues the latest progress of the Organizing Committees of the upcoming Olympic Games and Youth Olympic Games.
