The Czernin Palace Hosted Lecture about the Role of Humanitarian Aid in International Relations

The Grand Hospitaller of the Sovereign Order of Malta Dominique de La Rochefoucauld-Montbel gave lecture on the role of the humanitarian diplomacy. The lecture took place in the Great Hall of the Czernin Palace on January 25, 2018, and the opening remarks were given by the Deputy Minister for Security and Multilateral Issues Ivo Šrámek.
The lecture “Humanitarian Action, International Relations and Humanitarian Diplomacy: the Unique Approach of the Sovereign Order of Malta” organized by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs introduced the international impact of the Sovereign Order of Malta and its activities for the benefit of people in need. Members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of non-governmental organizations (Charitas, People in Need, etc.) and students participated in the following discussion.
