They were interested in the political and economic reforms leading to the accession of the Czech Republic to the NATO and the EU. They also had questions concerning the Czech approach to the countries of the Eastern Europe and the relations between the West and Russia. The Ukrainian students visited Czech Republic in the context of a tour featuring several capitals of the EU member states.

Ukrainian Leadership Academy was established in 2015 as a voluntary educational course for secondary school graduates.
