Deputy Minister Dürr met with Deputy Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Brkić

 

Deputy Minister for Europe Jakub Dürr hosted Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Josip Brkić on June 19, 2018. The partners discussed bilateral relations, the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the state of reforms and the EU integration process, regional cooperation, and migration.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Deputy Minister Brkić also met with the Directors of the Common Foreign and Security Policy Department and Security Policy Department. The talks focused on the bilateral security cooperation, EU foreign security issues, strategic communication, NATO, and security challenges in the Western Balkans.

The meetings with Deputy Minister Brkić provided the opportunity to reaffirm the Czech Republic's strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's efforts to reform and join the EU and NATO. During his stay in the Czech Republic, Deputy Minister Brkić also took part in the Prague European Summit.
