Deputy Minister Dürr at the Conference Focused on Ukrainian Reforms

 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr Jakub Dürr made a speech at the second Ukrainian Reform Conference held in Copenhagen on 27 June 2018 and opened the Czech Honorary Consulate in Aarhus.

This conference was hosted by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of  Denmark and Ukraine. Mr Dürr confirmed the Czech Republic´s interest in supporting independent, sovereign and territorially integral Ukraine, as well as in Czech Republic´s preparedness in sharing our experience from complex political, economic and social transformation process.

On 26 June 2018, Mr Jakub Dürr solemnly opened the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Aarhus. This new Consulate led by Honorary Consul Mr Stig Hellstern covers the region of Jutland and the island of Funen.

On the same day, Mr Dürr held talks with Secretary of State of the Danish Government Office Mr Michael Starbaek Christensen. They discussed current European topics, with a special emphasis on the agenda of the June European Council.
