Deputy Minister Petříček thanked the Ambassador of Latvia for excellent cooperation and personal contribution to developing bilateral collaboration. Ambassador Sarkanis among others appreciated the deployment of Czech soldiers in Latvia in the framework of NATO mission “Enhanced Forward Presence”, highlighted the quality of bilateral trade, positive trend of Czech economy and growing number of Czech tourists in Latvia. Among other discussed topics was the anniversary of 15 years of the European Union membership in 2019 and the Civil Service Act.
