Deputy Minister Kaucký Received the Ambassador of Georgia

On behalf of the Foreign Minister, the Deputy Minister Lukáš Kaucký received the Ambassador of Georgia Zaal Gogsadze. The meeting took place on September 26, 2018, on the occasion of termination of the Ambassador's diplomatic mission in the Czech Republic.

Deputy Minister Kaucký highly appreciated the Ambassador's personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Georgia and assured him that the Czech Republic remains committed to its support for Georgia's efforts to move ahead on the European and Euroatlantic path. Deputy Minister Kaucký pointed out that the peaceful conflict resolution, based on full respect for the principles of Georgia's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity, is the only way to ensure just and lasting solution. Ambassador Gogsadze expressed his hope that the existing general support to his country, focused on fulfilling its aspirations, will continue after his successor takes office.
