Deputy Minister Kaucký thanked Ambassador Petkov for his excellent cooperation and personal contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation. Deputy Minister described the bilateral relations between the countries as very good. Ambassador Petkov expressed his appreciation for the high level of bilateral relations and highlighted the number of bilateral meetings of representatives, especially during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in the first half of this year. Both sides welcomed the results of bilateral cooperation in many areas, including a steadily growing trade. While the business turnover in 2016 reached the amount 1.049 billion EUR, in 2017 it was already 1.246 billion EUR and during the first 8 months of 2018 the turnover has reached 0.95 billion EUR.
