US Secretary of Energy Perry at the MFA

Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Martin Povejšil and Martin Tlapa met with US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry during his visit to the Czech Republic on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Secretary Perry also gave a speech on Transatlantic energy security in the Great Hall of the Czernin Palace.
On behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister Martin Povejšil received US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry in the Czernin Palace. Deputy Minister Martin Tlapa also met with the Secretary. During a short meeting, the main topics were the Czech-American relations with a special focus on energy and bilateral economic cooperation, which has been growing successfully in the last few years.
The United States is the largest non-EU trading partner of the Czech Republic and an important investor in the Czech Republic.
