Political Consultations of Junior Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Košatka in Ankara

On November 19, 2018, Junior Deputy Foreign Minister for European Affairs and Director of the South and South East Europe Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Martin Košatka conducted reciprocal annual political consultations with his counterparts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara.
Junior Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Košatka held consultations in Ankara with Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey Faruk Kaymakci, Director General for Europe Gülhan Ulutekin, Deputy Director General for Economic Affairs Esra Dogan, Deputy Director General for Balkans Kerem Alp and Deputy Director General for Eastern Europe Yagmur Güldere. The discussions focused on bilateral cooperation between Turkey and the Czech Republic in the field of trade and economic, military and security, culture and education, visa and consular cooperation. Both ministries discussed also the current state and possible further development of EU and Turkey relations, mutual cooperation within NATO, cooperation in the fight against terrorism and other foreign policy topics.
