Deputy Minister Lukáš Kaucký opened the Czech Centre in Athens

 

On November 27, 2018, Deputy Minister Lukáš Kaucký officially opened the Czech Centre in Athens. The Greek Minister of Culture Mirsini Zorba, Deputy Foreign Minister Markos Bolaris and Czech Ambassador to Greece Jan Bondy held a short speech at the opening of two exhibitions at the Image Gallery (One hundred years of Czechoslovakia and Greeks in Moravia in the 19th century).

During his presence in Athens Deputy Minister Kaucký also held political consultations at the Greek MFA on November 27 and 28. Together with Martin Košatka, Junior Deputy Minister for European Affairs, they met with Deputy Minister Markos Bolaris and other partners and they led talks about bilateral relations, migration, Brexit, the situation in the Western Balkans and the Cyprus Dialogue, as well as about relations with Turkey and China.
