7th Czech-Israeli Forum

The 7th Czech-Israeli Forum was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 4th December in the framework of the Czech–Israeli strategic partnership. The annual discussion platform gathered some 30 diplomats and senior officials from the State of Israel and the Czech Republic.

The Forum offered an expert exchange on bilateral and multilateral foreign policy issues of key importance; including recent developments in the European Union and the Middle East or main topics of shared global responsibility. In their opening remarks, Ambassadors Martin Stropnický and Daniel Meron highlighted the strong historic bonds between our countries since 1918 but also current and practical examples of cooperation in the medical or military spheres and innovations. Among the main future challenges, a key attention has been dedicated to the rules-based international order and the UN Sustainable Developments Goals including both Czech and Israeli strategic responses to the Climate change.
