Minister J. Lipavský met with the President and Foreign Minister of Switzerland I. Cassis

 

Minister Lipavský met with Swiss President Cassis to talk about Ukraine, energy security and digitalization. Lipavský praised the excellent and traditionally friendly relations between Switzerland and Czechia. The focus has always been on economic cooperation.
 

“We talked about advancing the Czech-Swiss cooperation Innovation, science and cybersecurity are the areas where we should cooperate more,” said Minister Lipavský after the meeting.

Switzerland is the seventh biggest investor in Czechia. There is a great potential to deepen the bilateral cooperation in modern and innovative areas such as digitalization. The two countries closely cooperate within various international organisations. During the meeting with Swiss President Cassis, Minister Lipavský also presented Czech EU Presidency priorities.
