Statement of MFA on the UN Security Council’s Resolution 1701 concerning Cease-fire in Lebanon

The MFA of the Czech Republic welcomes the UN Security Council’s resolution 1701 on Lebanon, which requests cease-fire of Hezbollah and Israel. The Czech Republic appreciates mutual attitudes towards the resolution as well as common agreement on the end of the fighting. The Czech Republic welcomes the decision of Lebanon government to deploy army on its entire state territory. It will ensure full sovereignty of the Republic of Lebanon. (14/8/2006)

The Czech Republic welcomes the decision of Lebanon government to deploy army on its entire state territory. It will ensure full sovereignty of the Republic of Lebanon.
MFA of the Czech Republic strongly believes that these accepted measures would help to reach stability in the region and to achieve sustainable solution of the conflict.
