Statement of the MFA on the Terrorist Attacks in Kuwait and Tunisia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic would like to offer its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims and the injured during the heinous terrorist attacks against worshippers in Imam Sadiq mosque in Kuwait and tourists at the Sousse resort in Tunisia on 26 June 2015. The Czech Republic strongly condemns these terrorist acts which are even more heinous since they were perpetrated during the holy month of Ramadan. Their perpetrators and organizers must be swiftly apprehended and brought before justice.

These terrorist acts, as well as the attack against the Air Products factory in France again affirm the urgency of cooperation of the international community, regardless of the religious and political conviction, in fight against terrorism and for peace and tolerance.
