Statement of the MFA on the investigation of the attack on the Palestinian family on July 31, 2015

The Czech Republic follows very closely the ongoing investigation of the violent attack on the Dawabsha family on July 31, 2015, in the village Duma in the West Bank.
The Czech Republic welcomed the strong opposition of the Israeli government to the terrible crime and the prompt launching of the thorough investigation and stresses the need for rightful punishment of the perpetrators.
The Czech Republic hopes that the brutal attack will not affect the peace dialogue between Israeli and Palestinian authorities and reiterates its call for return to the negotiations between both sides.
