Statement of the MFA on the Verdict in the Case of Eston Kohver

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is alarmed by the verdict of the Russian Court in Pskov in the case of Eston Kohver, Estonian security officer, who was abducted by members of Russian security services on Estonian territory on September 5, 2014.

The Ministry considers the trial fabricated, expresses its indignation over the sentence and calls on the authorities of the Russian Federation to release Eston Kohver immediately and ensure his safe return to his homeland.
