An attack on worshippers during their service is especially deplorable and coward form of terrorism, the aim of which is to intimidate members of Coptic religious denomination, and perhaps an ineffectual attempt to play Egyptian Christians and Moslems off against each other in order to cause more chaos and violence in the country. The Czech Republic stands behind the Government of Egypt in its relentless fight with terrorism. We are confident that it will shortly succeed in bringing the perpetrators of the terrorist attack to justice.
