We consider the persecution of the local staff by foreign embassies and international organizations to be an unacceptable practice, which may call into question the position of in the negotiations to resolve the conflict in Yemen. The movement must immediately release all detained employees of the US embassy and the UN, end their persecution and return the confiscated property. The Houthi security forces must leave the closed US embassy.
