These were the main topics of the meeting of the head of Czech diplomacy Jan Lipavský, who met with Saudi ministers on May 24, 2023.

At the beginning of the trip, Minister Lipavský opened a business forum, at which he was accompanied by a 15-member Czech business delegation. According to the head of Czech diplomacy, Czechia can offer Saudi Arabia high-quality expertise in a number of fields. "Czechia has a long tradition of innovation and we can also be proud of our highly skilled workforce, cutting-edge technologies and quality products. We are always looking for new business opportunities, even in markets outside the single European market," the minister said at the opening of the event, which was also attended by the local chamber of commerce.

At the meeting with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister Lipavský addressed a range of topics, from security in the region to Russian aggression in Ukraine.
