
Videoconference of the EU Member States and Eastern Partnership Foreign Affairs Ministers

On June 11, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomáš Petříček took part in the videoconference of the EU Member States and Eastern Partnership Foreign Affairs Ministers. The ministerial meeting aimed at the preparation of the EaP Leaders’ videoconference on June 18.
The ministerial meeting confirmed the strategic importance of the Eastern Partnership. The participants also expressed mutual solidarity and support in handling the health and socio-economic impact of the current pandemic. Besides, they arrived at the conclusion that - looking ahead - it is crucial to start preparing concrete deliverables in post-2020 period when the current programme of cooperation expires.
