The handover ceremony took place at the presidential palace, where Ambassador Jiří Baloun handed over his credentials to the President of Islamic Republic Afghanistan to H.E. Ashraf Gahni. The ceremony was preceded by a courtesy meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Hanif Atmar.
