Czech Republic to build 7 KW Micro-Hydro Power Plant in Kunar

Filip Vurm, Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Afghanistan and  Samiullah,  Director of  “Active Help Organization for Women and Children – AHOWC”  signed a contract concerning the implementation of small scale project project “Construction of 7 KW Micro-Hydro Power Project,  Watapoor District of Kunar Province” on 4 June 2020 at the embassy premise in Kabul.

 

 The aim of this project is to build a micro-hydro power plant  generating 7 KW in Qamchi village which will provide electricity to  200 the most vulnerable families.
