Meeting with the representatives of the Kyrgyz minority from Badakhshan province in Afghanistan

The Czech Embassy in Kabul held a meeting with the representatives of the Kyrgyz minority from the Afghan province of Badakhshan , Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Avazbek Abdurazakov , Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Miroslav Kosek and diplomat Mr. Benjamin Žiga.

Representatives of the Kyrgyz minority led by Mr. Tordi Akhundov expressed their joy and gratitude for the invitation to the embassy of the Czech Republic in Kabul. The Kyrgyz ambassador explained the difficult situation and conditions in which the ethnic Kyrgyz minority lives in. This  group of ethnic Kyrgyzs are historically referred to as ethnic Kyrgyz of  Big and Small Pamir of the Badakhshan province in Afghanistan. The minority faces extremely complex living conditions and almost no help from international organizations.
