Czech Pianist Karel Vrtiška performed in No Black Tie

On 22 October 2019 the young talented and famous Czech pianist Karel Vrtiška performed at the well-known classical music gastro bar No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur. He presented works by Smetana, Haydn and Liszt.
 
 

Karel Vrtiška completed his master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg and a master’s degree at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He received the title of laureate of the International Smetana Competition in Pilsen in 2014. He currently works at the Department of Piano Co-operation at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU) and is engaged in solo concert activities in the Czech Republic and abroad.

The Czech Embassy in Kuala Lumpur was co-organizing the cultural event, which turned as a very successful starter for Malaysian and foreign classical music lovers before his main performance at the National Day reception on the same week.
