V4 Presentation at University of Malaya

The Embassy of the Czech Republic took part in the presentation of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries, which was organized by the V4 presiding country of Poland, in co-operation with the Asia-Europe Institute of the University of Malaya on the 14th of November 2016. At the event, the Ambassadors of Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia presented their countries from the economic and political perspective. Educational opportunities were part of the countries’ presentations.

The Czech Ambassador Mr. Rudolf Hykl in his expose informed about the curent political and economic situation in the Czech Republic, the role and priorities of the Czech Republic in V4, and about the bilateral co-operation with Malaysia in the field of education. After his presentation, the questions from more than 30 attending representatives of the academic community focused on the aspects of political and economic transformation of the Czech Republic after 1989, the current developments in the European Union, and opportunities for study in the Czech Republic.
