Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Paid an Official Visit to the Czech Republic

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Y.B. Dato' Sri Anifah Hj. Aman paid an official visit to the Czech Republic on March 13-14th, 2014. During the visit he was received by the Minister of Foreign of the Czech Republic, Mr. Lubomir Zaoralek. The meeting focused on further deepening of the bilateral relations, in particular in the area of political and economic cooperation, science and academic exchanges. The ministers exchanged their views on current global and multilateral issues, including development in Europe and Asia. They also discussed cooperation between Malaysia and the European Union. The Czech Republic considers Malaysia an important partner in South East Asia and sees a substantive potential for the further development of mutually beneficial relations.
