25th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution

A legacy of Vaclav Havel, the central figure of the Velvet Revolution of 1989, was remembered by a projection of a documentary movie “Občan Havel”, at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuala Lumpur on the 17th of November, 2014.

Director Pavel Koutecký had been collecting materials for the movie over the period of thirteen years. The movie reveals backstage of Havel´s political and private life during his presidential term. It captures all the important moments of the time.
