New Reservation System for Visa Applications at the Embassy

Following the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic to implement a new system of reservation for visa applications, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuala Lumpur, effective on the 1st of December 2017, introduces a telephone appointment system for visa application submissions.

The applicants (only for selected types and visa purposes: https://www.mzv.cz/kualalumpur/en/visa_and_consular_information/information_for_students_and_visa.html) must book their visit by calling the Embassy at +603 2166 2900 to make an appointment. (Don´t call the emergency number for the Czech citizens, mentioned on the bottom.) The full name, passport number, date of birth, mobile contact and nationality will be required. Non Malaysian applicants for long stay visa, long stay residence and employee card have to show their Malaysian residential permit/visa for longer period then 1 year (not applicable for Singaporeans).

For appointments in July, please call starting on 7th July in between 10:30am - 4:30pm. For appointments in August and later new instruction will be published. In each phone call only one slot can be booked, with the exception of minors whose appointments can be booked together with their legal representative.  


Consular Hours are on Monday and Wednesday from 2pm till 4pm, except for Czech Public Holidays.
   
For legalizations and other consular services, please, book your visit by calling us too. Your appointment will be granted for the closest consular day, always at 2pm.
