In his speech, Czech Ambassador Mr Jaroslav Siro highlighted the longstanding friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries. Next year Czechia and Kuwait will commemorate the 60th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations. Ambassador Siro also mentioned main priorities of the Presidency of the Czech Republic in the Council of the Europen Union and underlined the support of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. At the event, two Škoda cars provided by Behbehani Motors Co., the local Škoda Auto dealer, were displayed. The South Bohemian Folk Bagpipe Ensemble Bedrník entertained about 300 guests - diplomats, Kuwaiti friends as well as Czech compatriots.
