Consular Department of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuwait works for the general public by phone / e-mail appointment system.

Each applicant should present his/her Passport and ID for his personal identification. The fees should be paid in cash only in Kuwaiti Dinars (KD).  The fees have been set by law and may be slightly changed every month according to the exchange rate.
 
The official working hours of the Consular Department are the same as the working hours of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kuwait: SUN-THU 9:00 am - 12:00 pm (except from public holidays)

To note:
Partial Abolition of Visa Requirement for Diplomatic Passports
The Agreement between the Czech Republic and the State of Kuwait on “the Partial Abolition of Visa Requirement for Diplomatic Passports” has come into effect from 29.7.2016. Citizens of one country who are holders of valid diplomatic passport may enter, stay and transit through the territory of the other country without visa for a period not exceeding 90 days in any 180 day period.
 
Long Term Visas
The applications for the long stay at the territory of the Czech Republic - for different purposes as e.g. medical treatment, study, business or family reunion should be submitted at The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nuzha.
Applicant shall present the documents with the application form in person to the Embassy and then shall be given an appointment with Consul or Consular Assistant for submitting the application file and for the interview.
If there are no missing documents and the “paperwork” is done properly, the application could be received at the very same day or the following day according to the order of preferences within the whole consular agenda of the Embassy. (However the legal term for acceptance of the application is up to 30 days).
 
Legalisation and other consular agenda:
All legalisation related issues are being collected on Sundays and shall be processed weekly on Mondays. 
Each applicant should present original Passport and ID as his/her personal identification. In urgent cases timing can be negotiable upon a request.
