In the cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Repulbic in Ljubljana, Czech manufacturers of medical equipment  presented themselves in the form of joint participation at the fair.

The presentation of Czech companies at historically first international fair of this kind in Slovenia was ensured because of the support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic through the project of economic diplomacy (PROPED). The project was realized in the cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana and Association of manufacturers and suppliers of medical devices of the Czech Republic (AVZDP). The companies of Aries a.s., AUDY s.r.o., MEDIN a.s. and NanoTrade s.r.o. represented large member base of AVDZP in Czech exhibition stand of exhibition area of 50 square meters.

The fact that the Czech Republic became the general foreign partner of the fair undoubtedly contributed to the highlighting of Czech presence at the fair.The main speakers during the festive opening of the fair were therefore the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Slovenia, H.E. Mrs. Věra Zemanová and Deputy of Czech Minister of Health, H.E. Mr. Radek Policar besides Slovenian partners represented by the Deputy of Slovenian Minister of Health H.E. Mrs. Nina Pirnat, the manager of the fair, Mr. Janez Erjavec and the Mayor of the city of Gornja Radgona, Mr. Stanislav Rojko. Whilst the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mrs. Zemanová focused her speech on the presentation of macroeconomic parameters of constantly growing business exchange between Slovenia and the Czech Republic, the Deputy Mr. Policar emphasized the top quality of Czech medical devices as well as high level of services of Czech health sector.

The aim of Czech presence at the fair was particularly an increase of export potential of Czech manufacturers of medical devices in Slovenia as well as search for new business contacts. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana actively participated to achieve this goal. Besides the participation at the preparation and organization of Czech presence at the fair, with an early start the Embassy addressed Slovenian business partners of Czech companies to meet at B2B, organized accompanying events for business partners as well as reception that was used by present guests to less formal discussion and exchange of experience.
