Ambassador J. Chmiel laid a wreath at the military cemetery in Dutovlje

Ambassador J. Chmiel, accompanied by cultural attaché Veronika Benešová, laid a wreath on the military cemetery in Dutovlje on January 27, 2020 to honor and pay tribute to the Czech soldiers killed during the World War I.
The military cemetery of World War I Dutovlje, located on the Slovenian-Italian border near the city of Trieste, is a memorial place commemorating the victims of World War I. According to official sources, soldiers of different nationalities are buried at this location, including more than 3000 Czech soldiers.
