The Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mr. Juraj Chmiel opened the meeting with the CZ PRES pritorities in the field of digitization. He mentioned that its one of the most important agenda due to the political situation in the international relationship. He also stressed the need for continuing digitisation of European Industry, deepening of the Internal digital market and strengthening cybersecurity, especially as a result of the risks stemming from Russian aggression against Ukraine.

Minister Emilija Stojmenova Duh presented priorities of Slovenia in Digital Transformation and preparation of the Strategy „Digital Slovenia 2030“. She highlighted efforts to reduce digital exclusion, f.e. in between of generations, gender or differencies between cities and countryside. The digital skills of older people are a particular challenge in this respect. In this context, she mentioned the Czech non-profit organization Czechitas as a case of good practice, which focuses on inclusive educational projects in the field of digitization.
