The Ambassador Juraj Chmiel attended the ceremony of awarding the Slovenian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and future Ambassador in Prague Tanja Strniša

The Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Slovenia Juraj Chmiel accompanied by his Deputy Jan Beneš attended in Dolenjske Toplice the ceremony of awarding the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Tanja Strniša on the occasion of the termination of her work at the Ministry of Agriculture. The event was organized by the Beekeeping Association of Slovenia. In the presence of the President of the National Assembly and the Minister of Agriculture, received Tanja Strniša as a gift the traditional Slovenian Bee hive.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture Tanja Strniša has received an award for her contribution to the Slovenian bee hiving, which belongs to one of the most important national traditions. The present President of the National Assembly of Slovenia Dejan Židan and the Slovenian Minister of Agriculture Aleksandra Pivec, the Mayor of Dolenjske Toplice as well as the representatives of the Beekeeping Association of Slovenia praised her achieved results and expressed their interest in deepening the mutual relationship between Slovenia and the Czech Republic in the field of Agriculture. The awarded beehive will be displayed in the premises of the Slovenian Embassy in Prague. The Czech Ambassador Juraj Chmiel has on this occasion valued the good relationships between both countries and wished Tanja Strniša a good luck on her new position in Prague.
