As a symbol of support and sympathy, the flag of Ukraine was raised on the building of the Embassy. The Deputy Head of Mission J. Beneš has on the 24th February 2022 attended the joint event of the diplomatic corps in Slovenia at the Embassy of Ukraine in Ljubljana, where the solidarity and support to Ukraine were expressed. The Ambassador of the Czech Republic Juraj Chmiel joined together with other Ambassadors the gathering in support of Ukraine organised on 2nd March by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Janez Janša. 

The Ambassadors accredited in Slovenia including the Ambassador of the Czech Republic have expressed their Solidarity with Ukraine in a video spot, where they highlighted the unity of the vast majority of the international community, which have condemned the Russian aggression, imposed tough sanctions a joined together in support of Ukraine and its people. The Ambassadors have also called for aid and donations to the Ukrainian refugess.
