During the visit both Prime Ministers discussed the intensification of mutual relations between the Czech Republic and Slovenia in the field of business, investment and economic cooperation. They also discussed Czech Slovenian cultural cooperation, actual situation in the European Union and cooperation between the Visegrad group countries and Slovenia. They opened Czech Slovenian digital business forum together.

During his visit the Prime Minister M. Cerar was also officially received by the President of the Czech Republic H. E. Mr. Miloš Zeman as well as by the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic H. E. Mr. Milan Štěch. During the working lunch, the Prime Minister M. Cerar held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Czech Republic and the Minister of Finance H. E. Mr. Andrej Babiš. The Prime Minister M. Cerar with the delegation also visited the Václav Havel Library and in Prague 3 the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Our Lord designed by Josip Plečnik.

The main part of the Prime Minister′s programme was January 23 which was the day of 145th anniversary of the birth of famous Slovenian architect Josip Plečnik who as a Chief architect was appointed to newly modify the Prague castle complex as well as the city of Ljubljana in the first half of 20th century.

The visit confirmed the high level and dynamics of mutual bilateral relations as well as the opportunities for development and intensification of the cooperation in the future. More information at:
