World Road Congress in Prague (2nd – 6th October 2023)

The 27th World Road Congress will take place in the Prague Congress Centre, Czech Republic, between 2 - 6 October 2023. The theme of the event is “Prague 2023 – Together on the road again,” reflecting on the pandemic that has kept us apart. The Congress, which will be attended by 3,000 to 5,000 delegates, mostly from abroad, and 40+ infrastructure ministers, will present the latest trends and technologies in the road transport sector.

The event is organized by PIARC, the World Road Association. The four main themes to be discussed include:

• Road Administration;

• Mobility;

• Resilient Infrastructure;

• Safety and Sustainability.

There are multiple ways to take part in this event, ranging from the chance to present a lecture

on one’s work, attending the Congress to benefit from the latest insights and know-how in the field, networking with world experts or introducing one’s business, organization, or country in one of the exhibition booths. There will also be opportunities to take part in workshops or technical visits.

The Congress is a great opportunity for policy makers, civil servants, civil engineers, researchers, road builders but also academics and students alike. The Congress languages include English, Czech, German and Spanish.
