Save the date: 19 September 2022 opening of the exhibition „Czech footprints in Slovenia“

On 19 September 2022 at 2 p.m., on the banks of the Lublanica River in Ljubljana, on the Krakovski nasip, the opening of the open air exhibition „Czech Footprints in Slovenia „ will take place on the occasion of the Czech Presidency of the Council of Europe.

The common history, which dates back to the early Middle Ages and continues through the unification of Bohemia with Carniola under Přemysl Otakar II, and later through Barbara of Celje as Queen of Bohemia, to the 400 years of the common state under the Habsburg crown, has resulted that linguistically related nations have grown closer culturally, politically and socially, and have had a profound influence on each other.

This exhibition reminds us of the traces that Czechs left in Slovenia.
