The opening ceremony of the festival at Sevnica Castle was attended by Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Slovenia, Mrs. Věra Zemanová, who in her speech emphasized the long-term development of mutual Czech-Slovenian relations in the field of art and culture.

The festival enjoyed a great interest from visitors, especially children and their parents. Around two hundred visitors watched the performance in the medieval castle of Sevnica. Part of the festival was also an exhibition of puppets, children's works of puppet production and their animation.
