The exhibition "Jaroslav Brda - On the Battlefields of the Socha Front"

On 17th July 2018, an exhibition entitled "Jaroslav Brda - On the Battlefields of the Socha Front" was held in Kobarid, where Borut Pahor, the President of the Republic of Slovenia, took over the patronage. The exhibition was installed in the premises of the Peace Path Foundation in the Socha basin in Kobarid.
 

The Fair has been prepared by the Peace Path Foundation in Socha basin (Fundacija Pot miru in Posočje) in cooperation with the Military Historical Institute in Prague and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana as part of the NETWORLD International  Network for the Conservation of World Cultural Heritage in the First World War in the Danube Countries. Honorary patronage of the exhibition was taken over by Slovenian President Borut Pahor. The exhibition was officially opened by Czech Ambassador to Slovenia Mrs. Věra Zemanová together with Mayor of Kobarid Mr. Robert Kavčič.

The exhibition presents the fate of a common czech soldier who passed through the front lines of the First World War and completed his writen memories with original drawings. The exhibition, whose opening was attended by approximately 50 visitors, was opened in the premises of the Foundation until August 15, 2018.
