On February 20, 2017 the Vernissage of the exhibition took place in Ljubljana.

The Vernissage was held within the Exchange art program with the name of Bumerang 7 that was organized by Slovenian Institute of AAMI in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana.  12 Czech artists of the younger generation (graduates of the paint drawing and sculpture studies of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Ostrava) introduced their works in the Exhibition.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Slovenia H. E. Věra Zemanová who in her speech stressed the importance of the support of cultural and art projects that deepen mutual communication and cooperation between the two countries.

The AAMI Institute in the cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ljubljana realized the project named Bumerang 7 that was based on the concept of reciprocal display of art works of Czech painters in Slovenia and vice versa the works of Slovenian artists in the Czech Republic.

The activities of the AAMI Institute focus on the organization of cultural events with the possibility to use temporarily empty space in shopping centers for cultural activities. By doing this they try to revive the empty space and at the same time support art projects. The main partner of AAMI Institute in Ljubljana is business, shopping and entertainment center of BTC City.

Before this vernissage there was an exhibition of Slovenian paint artists in Prague that was placed in the business center of Quadrio. The vernissage of this exhibition was held on February 3, 2017.
