The British-Czech-French film tells the true story of the Czech and Slovak paratroopers who were sent from England to the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia during the World War II to carry out the assassination of the Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich (so called Operation Anthropoid). The mission was organised by the Intelligence Department of the Ministry of National Defense of the exiled Czechoslovak government residing in London.

 The evening began with a foreword by the Czech Ambassador Libor Sečka. The screening was attended by approximately 100 people, among whom were the Slovak Ambassador Ĺubomír Rehák, representatives of the Czech-Slovak community, the Czechoslovak Legionaries community and other distinguished guests.

The screening of the film was followed by a presentation and discussion with John Martin, who is one of the British experts on the stated operation and who was a consultant during the making of the film, in which he also stars in one of the supporting roles. Mr Martin´s book about Operation Anthropoid, „The mirror caught the sun“, which was available for purchase afterwards, was sold out within a few minutes.

The evening was concluded with a reception hosted by the Czech Embassy, where guests had the chance to discuss the just seen film.
