Deputy Foreign Minister Jakub Dürr held meetings in London

On 24 April 2017, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Issues of the Czech Republic, Jakub Dürr, held a series of meetings with British partners.

In the House of Commons, Mr. Dürr met with the Chairman of the Committee for Exiting the European Union, Hilary Benn MP (Labour party). At the Department for Exiting the European Union, he met with Oliver Robbins, who will lead negotiations on Brexit for the British side, and with the Minister of State for Europe and the Americas, Sir Alan Duncan, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

The main topics of the talks were the Brexit and pre-election situation in the United Kingdom. At the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr. Dürr once again drew attention to the case of Zdeněk Makar (a Czech citizen murdered in London in 2016).
