Holders of diplomatic, service, official or special passports

Holders of diplomatic, service, official or special passports may contact the Visa Section of the Czech Embassy in advance to find out whether they need a visa. Please send us an email to visa.london@embassy.mzv.cz  and we will respond to you as quickly as we can.

Holders of diplomatic, service, official or special passports can submit their visa application at the Embassy on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:00 am.

Please note that you need to submit the following documents for each application when applying for a Schengen visa:

1) If the purpose of the trip is tourism, conference, etc:

2) If purpose of the trip is an official visit:

    • completed visa application form (https://www.mzv.cz/visaform)
    • 1 passport size photograph;
    • valid passport with at least 2 blank visa pages, valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date of the trip to the Schengen Area + copy
    • UK residence permit valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date of the trip to the Schengen Area
    • original official note from the Embassy
    • holders of service passport need to provide also travel insurance valid for the Schengen area.

Important Notice: Applicants need to appear in person in order to provide biometric data (fingerprints and photograph).

Exemptions from the obligation of fingerprinting are provided for the following categories of applicants only:

  • Children under 12;
  • Persons for whom the collection of fingerprints is physically impossible;
  • Sovereigns and other senior members of a royal family, Heads of State and members of the national Governments (with their official delegations and spouses) if they travel for official purposes.
