Ambassador Marie Chatardová added her message to the condolence book for Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II

On Tuesday 13th September, Ambassador Marie Chatardová added her message to the condolence book for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II located at Lancaster House in London.

It is with deep sorrow that we received news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty The Queen was an example of bravery, diligence, devotion and humanity. Her passing is a painful loss not only for the British people and for the people of the Commonwealth but also for the citizens of the Czech Republic. The visit of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to the Czech Republic in 1996, the first visit of a British monarch to the Czech lands, remains forever in the memory of many of us. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family, the British people and the people of the Commonwealth. Allow me to express my deepest condolences.

Marie Chatardová

Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Court of St. James’s
