Ambassador Chatardová hosted a state reception in the occasion of establishment of Czechoslovakia

For the first time in her new role as Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Marie Chatardová opened the state reception in the occasion of the Day of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State on October 20th, 2021. The reception took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and for the Ambassador, it was her first public event since the beginning of her mission on October 12th, 2021.

Ambassador Chatardová welcomed the guests with a short introductory speech and a joint toast. More than 250 distinguished guests from the field of diplomacy, trade, culture and important personalities from the ranks of our compatriots joined the reception. They were served with traditional Czech cuisine, including Budweiser Buvar and Moravian wines, and listened to live music.

The atmosphere of the event was completed by the exhibition of important Czech sculptor Franta Bělský, who would have celebrated his 100 years anniversary this year. The exhibits for the exhibition were provided by private collectors, and it is the first time many of them were exhibited in public. The guests also had the opportunity to take a closer look the latest model of electric vehicle from Škoda Auto called Enyaq.
