Archbishop Dominik Duka and general Vlastimil Picek visited United Kingdom

Prague Archbishop Dominik Duka together with Chief of the General Staff of Armed Forces of the Czech Republic general Vlastimil Picek visited United Kingdom on May 4 – 6. During their stay they met with representatives of Czechs living in UK and visited places significant to both spiritual and defence spheres.
Archbishop Duka together with general Picek honored the memory of the soldiers who died in World War II by laying a wreath at Westminster Abbey Czechoslovak soldiers Memorial.
They also visited Royal Air Force base in Cosford and the the Czechoslovak War Memorial in the Brookwood Military Cemetery.
