The Czech Prime Minister visited London

On 24 October 2018, the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babiš, visited the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
He held a meeting with the British Prime Minister, Theresa May, in 10 Downing Street; had lunch with the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Charles Bowman; met Czech citizens who live in the UK; paid tribute to Czechs and Slovaks who died in the Battle of Britain; and together with his wife, he attended the Czech Philharmonic concert at the Royal Academy of Music on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia.
Mrs. Monika Babišová had her own official programme in London. She visited the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children Foundation, and during a lunch hosted by Mrs. Sabrina Sečková, she met with 10 heads of Czech schools in the UK (from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Berkshire, Peterborough and Edinburgh).
