Czechoslovak WII veteran living in the UK Ervín Hoida celebrathed 104th birthday

One of the last living Czechoslovak WWII veterans Mr. Ervín Hoida celebrates 104 years today. Mr Hoida was born in Ostrava on 30 November 1918.
He escaped Czechoslovakia after it was occupied by German Nazi forces in 1939 and served in France and leter with the Czechoslovak armoured brigade in the United Kingdom. After D-Day, he took part in the liberation of Europe, returning to Czechslovakia in 1945, however he returned back to the UK few months later due to the rising communist threat. Mr Hoida lives in the UK in Wirral nearby Liverpool.
